I am a word camera [writer] and futurist living by grace. I’m passionate about God and my family; I love sports, music, and art; and I’m quite fascinated by automobiles, technology, gadgets, and wine. I see God in the serendipity of life. It filters my expressions through a Christian worldview and I craft my words into essays, books, plays, or screenplays, with the goal of always creatively reflecting this point of view. Whenever someone finds meaning, joy, laughter, or inspiration through my writing, that is true success to me.
If you really must know more…
My early background includes work in Hollywood on various made-for-TV movies and animated feature films at major studios. I later became a cable TV producer and director and then moved on to establish my own video production company. I finally settled on freelance writing, whereby multiple independent production companies, advertising agencies, and businesses enlisted my talents. Throughout my career I have written many stories and scripts in a variety formats for independent video productions, television commercials, voiceovers, church plays, short stories, essays, copywriting, websites, and blogs. In addition, I’ve had two screenplays optioned.
When I use the phrase word camera to describe myself, I mean that I am a great observer of life. I use words, like a camera, to capture often overlooked moments and experiences. From those written snapshots, I draw inspiration to write and hopefully inspire and entertain my readers.
